Central Vermont Trailblazers is an inclusive, year round youth mountain bike team that creates outdoor recreational outdoor opportunities for Central Vermont youth on bicycles.
Youth mountain biking for grades 5-12
Central Vermont Trailblazers is a youth mountain bike team founded in 2023 that provides competitive and noncompetitive riding opportunities in the Central Vermont area. CVBT participates in the Vermont Youth Cycling racing series, hold practices through out the year, and is focused on getting kids outside, having fun.
Equity and inclusion matter
Central Vermont Trailblazers is a mountain bike team that works to create inclusive and positive experiences for Vermont youth. On and off bikes, CVTB works with youth in grades 5-12 of all genders to challenge themselves and grow as individuals and members of a team. Where traditional sports teams primarily focus on their active season only, we are working to build a shared, year round experience and enjoyment of outdoor recreation.
Central Vermont Trailblazers aims to be accessible to all interested families in the area that we serve and provide financial and material support to participating families who require it. Cycling like so many other outdoor recreation activities is expensive and CVTB supports participating families through coaching, equipment, and transportation.
